ŠKODA Northern Tour

The 2023 SKODA Northern Tour Presented by Safetyminder is contested in Winter Tournament week, and will be on 2 - 3 September, run by Cycling New Zealand Schools. Held in Auckland, the Northern Tour includes 3 stages; an Individual Time Trial, Hill Climb and Criterium.
Riders will not only have overall GC title up for grabs but will also be racing for the National School Hill Climb and National School Individual Time Trial titles.
Saturday 2 September:

All volunteers should be over the age of 18, be confident in their role and wear fully enclosed footwear. All equipment required for the role will be given out on the day, such as high-vis vests. Volunteers need to report to the Cycling New Zealand Schools tent for briefing 15 minutes prior to the time stated in the roster. Click here to read the Commitment of Volunteering agreement. Individual Races:
U20, U17, U16, U15, U14, U13 boys and girls
At a minimum competitors must be enrolled in Year 7.
Refund Policy
Refunds requested after the entry closing date will only be processed on the presentation of a medical certificate. All refunds will incur a $20 administration fee.
Rules
The Northern Tour is run in accordance to with the Cycling New Zealand Schools Rules.
Health and Safety
Everyone has a responsibly towards Health and Safety at an event.
The safety of the riders, officials, volunteer and spectators are included in the event planning. This includes (but not limited to) road restrictions, traffic management and event advisories to the local businesses and residents.
The event takes place a mix of urban residential and rural roads. It is your responsibility to manage your own safety during the event, to be aware of other road users at all times and to make responsible decisions. There is traffic management in place however, the roads are OPEN and there will be public and official traffic on the circuit during your race.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Health and Safety please report to the Chief Commissaire or to the Race Manager.

Entries will open in 2023. Entries must be completed through your school only through Enter Now. No individual entries will be accepted. Schools must be affiliated with Cycling New Zealand Schools for the 2023 year and list their riders before they can enter. Click here for the live entry list TBC.
Entry fees: TBC per rider
Entry fees include the $6 Cycling New Zealand Schools Levy.
ENTRIES WILL CLOSE 5PM FRIDAY 18 AUGUST. ENTRY ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID BY FRIDAY 25 AUGUST.
Once you have completed your entries through Enter Now, you must download an invoice from the bottom of the entry form. Your Invoice number must be used as the reference when paying your account.
