Cycling New Zealand Schools head to NZ’s biggest city with co-hosts Auckland MTB Club and 440 MTB Park on board to host the North Island School MTB championships to be held from Sunday 21 March – Tuesday 23 March 2021.

On offer will be Cross Country, Cross Country Relay, Enduro and Downhill across two of Aucklands’ best mountain biking parks located in and around the Hunua Ranges Regional Park.

Auckland MTB Club will host the Cross Country and Cross Country Relay on the Hunua Trails in the Auckland Council Hunua Ranges Park located just 40mins south of the centre of Auckland.

Down the road in Kawakawa Bay,  Enduro and Downhill will be hosted by the team at 440 MTB Park as the popular gravity events continue to support the growth of schools mountain biking.

The North Island Championship will kick start Summer Tournament week with the Cross Country held on the Sunday and taking advantage of a quieter mid-week use of the popular 440 park, the incredibly popular Enduro is provisionally scheduled for Monday and the Downhill on Tuesday.

With Enduro and Downhill expected to reach capacity the Cycling New Zealand Schools Capacity Event Entry Process will be implemented. More information on the capacity limits will be published prior to entries opening.

More details will be posted to the event website here in the coming weeks.
