Updated Schools Rules – effective 1 January 2021

The Schools Cycling rules have been updated with effect from 1 January 2021.

One of the key changes is that wheels containing carbon or composite rims and/or spokes are now permitted. The requirement for a minimum of 16 spokes and a rim depth of no greater than 45mm is still in place.

Other changes include:

• Inclusion of rules for Schools Cycling Cyclo-Cross
• Update to the Capacity Event Entry Process
• Updated the Overall Top School awards at each National Championships
• Update to the eligibility for team events
